Did I mention we’re moving? That is basically what is going on in real life here in Mums’ Days Central. Boxes. Packing. So much stuff! My head is a bit scrambled with it all.
I don’t like all this change either – it’s all just about to happen and I’m scared! On Tuesday Reuben went for his induction at his preschool. He played for half an hour while I filled out the longest form! Then I left him for an hour. That boy was completely unfazed, thank goodness!! Fingers crossed he will continue to be next week when it’s 6 hours rather than one. Meanwhile I got spend half an hour at our new gym, drinking coffee and admiring the fantastic views.
Then Thursday was Reuben’s last day with his wonderful childminder and our neighbour, Susan. She’s been amazing. But what’s more amazing is that we all managed to hold it together – I did have a little bulb over this card later though…
But the blog deadlines also continue! It’s been a busy old week. From the John Lewis #JLLiveBetter event down in London (do you like my cover shots!!) to lunch reviews and valentines presents it’s been busy, but great to be able to do fun stuff with my best mate and Mike!
Waiting for my Valentine for my wrap.me post and Review of Jesmond Dene House Lunch Menu!
And yesterday I got to see 2 of the most inspiring ladies in my life – a little lunch in Leeds with these two beauties!
The fitness bloggers at the #JLLiveBetter event are unreal and they are doing amazing things with both their bodies and their blogs. Carly Rowena, in particular, is just awesome!!
Over to You
How has week your week been? My cohost, Aby from You Baby Me Mummy, and I have really enjoyed all the posts this week and my featured bloggers are:
The Determined Housewife – Appreciation Reflection is a lovely post about the smaller but still pleasing things in life!
Life with Six Kids – How to achieve goals as a busy mum is a great post full of spreadsheets. I bloody LOVE spreadsheets!!
Tea Cup Toria – The Ex Files is a brilliant post. As a ‘modern’ family, i.e. one which involves Exs and bonus children (for me!), this is a fascinating and useful post!
This week Aby is linking how to run a successful blogger linky and her Bluestone Wales review. I am sharing my Chilli Prawn Linguini recipe (I’m particularly proud of that one!) and her tips on flying with a toddler. What will you be linking?
