On Friday I will be setting off nice and early for a train to London Town along with about 300 other parenting bloggers. It’s the pilgrimage of the Parenting Bloggers’ year, also known as Britmums Live 2015. I had the time of my life last year, and I can’t wait to go again!
I mentioned back in April that this year Nuby are my conference sponsors and part of my role at the conferences is to meet lots of lovely bloggers and talk about how they can also become a brand rep. So if this is of interest to you, please don’t be shy, come and talk to me and I’ll tell you all about it!
If you aren’t able to go to Britmums Live, feel free to get in touch with any of your questions and I’ll be happy to give you my firsthand experience of working with Nuby over the last 3 years. Email me hannah@mumsdays.com.
So onto my “I’m going to Britmums Live” post! We have been given a number of questions to answer, so here are mine:
I’m going to Britmums Live
Name: Hannah
Blog: This one (Mums’ Days)
Twitter ID: @mumsdays
Height: 5ft 7
Hair: Longish and brown
Eyes: Blue
Is this for your first blogging conference: No, I went to BML last year for the first time, and have since been to Blogcamp too.
Are you attending both days: Oh yes, I’m staying until Sunday in fact!
What are you most looking forward to at BritMums Live 2015?
This time last year I had hardly any blogging pals and certainly hadn’t met any in person. I made loads of new friends at last year’s BML and through generally taking part in the blogging community. So I’m really excited to see old friends again and make some new ones!
What are you wearing?
Possible a yellow dress, or I might go shopping if I get time!
What do you hope to gain from BritMums Live 2015?
Some free wine and fabulous memories!
Do you have any tips to pass on to others who may not have been before?
Don’t be afraid to say hello. I was a chicken last year and didn’t say hello to some people I really wanted to. Remember we’re all the same – even those big, celebrity bloggers! For more lessons, here’s my round up from last year’s Britmums Live.
That’s it! I guess I’ll see you there.
But if you can’t go, please don’t fret as I have a solution for you! Over on Live. Love. Blog we are going to be your eyes and ears on the ground! If you have any questions, want us to run any errands, give us a challenge, meet your favourite blogger to say hello for you or anything else – tweet @livelove_blog with the hashtag #notatBML and we’ll do our best to fulfil your wishes!
I’m excited to meet you Hannah! Xx
I love what you hope to gain! I cannot wait to meet you, I am oh so excited – 2 sleeps to go! x
Really hope to meet you there! I’m not very good at spotting people and it’s my first time there so I’m sure I’ll find it all quite overwhelming… so if you see me looking really lost come and say hello 🙂
I wish I was going. I can’t make it this year, I haven’t actually attended one yet but it is on my list of things to do and i will be there next year. Have fun and enjoy #TheList
I’m so new to blogging and had no idea there were things like conferences and whatnot. Definitely a blogging goal to maybe attend something like this one day! Hope you have a fab weekend!
Hope you have a really fab weekend Hannah. Enjoy! 🙂
Have fun! #TheList
Wishing you lots of fun, wine and great memories at BritMums Live! I’m not going, but I have heard and read so much about it, even before I launched my blog. It did cross my mind to maybe go, but I still feel like such a newbie and have so much to learn, and I would probably feel like a fraud being there, so I look forward to reading everyone’s reports and tips and hints … and maybe I will feel ready to take part next year. On a different note – I read that you’re encouraging to post on your Pinterest board – will have to look into this, as Pinterest is something that I haven’t quite got to grips with yet in terms of the blog and only really use it to pin inspiration for me. Is there anything I need to do to join?
x #TheList
Hi love, you just need to follow me and then tweet me or something to say you’d like to join! I know EXACTLY what you mean about not wanting to be a fraud but promise me you’ll stop that. We’re out to learn new things and if you have a blog you ARE a blogger – OK?! I didn’t go to Britmums until I’d been blogging for 2 and half years and it’s one of my biggest regrets that I didn’t go sooner. Within a year it has completely transformed my blog into my business – not necessarily because of what I learnt but more because of who I met and seeing what was possible!
Next time Isabella – or go to one of the other conferences, you won’t regret it I promise!!!! xx
Thank you so much, Hannah! What you’re saying makes perfect sense. I will try to start thinking like a “proper” blogger and will definitely attend next BritMums, and maybe another conference before that, if I can. Thank you for this pep talk, I think that’s what I needed to hear! And I will check out the Pinterest board asap. It’s on my agenda to get round to soonest, so will tweet you once I’ve done it! Thanks again! x
Perfect! See you at the next one then 😀 xx
Yay, excited to see you soon gorge x
Oooh so excited for you – wish I was going, but wasn’t organised enough so will be next year. Have a fabby time.
Thanks for hosting #TheList

Haha! And I was successful too (regret it now mind!) xx
May see you there! I will be one of the tiny number of people in attendance with a beard. #theList
It was great to finally meet you – beard and all.
