My real life merged with my blog life this week as I went to Britmums Live. And what a show! From Carol Smiley looking AH-mazing and talking about female problems (down there) to taking part in a world record attempt to wrap the most mummies in 3 minutes (which we did – I have the medal to prove it), it was pretty spectacular.
But none of that could compare to meeting and hanging out with my blogging pals who have been writing up a storm all year. They’ve been making me laugh, cry, motivated, angry and every other emotion under the sun. So seeing old friends and making new ones was brilliant and where the real joy of Britmums Live is for me. I can’t mention everyone as this would be the world longest post but special mentions go to my roomie, Katie from Pouting in Heels – we chatted like school girls drinking wine out of mugs (I found glasses the next day!) – my cohost for The List, Aby from You Baby Me Mummy, and Amy from Mr and Mrs T plus Three.
Oh, but there are so many more people but you know who you are and I’ll be round to comment!
On Saturday we were out to celebrate the lovely Mirka’s (of #FitnessTuesday fame!) Birthday and it was so nice just to sit for a good couple of hours and properly catch up with some friends after the whirlwind of Britmums Live.
Other highlights include going to Halton Castle, which only opens its doors once a year!
Hanging out with this little gorgeous boy (whilst blitzing the washing pile!)
And watching my buddy out of the kitchen window make her nest all week.
This is the part where you can join in with my co-host, the gorgeous Aby from You Baby Me Mummy, and I!
We had another great week on #TheList last week and we were thrilled we didn’t manage to completely throw you by going live a day early! My featured bloggers are:
Truly Madly Kids – Do real men eat cupcakes? I was not expecting that thrilling plot twist!
Little Fish – How to be a sociable Stay-at-home-mum I could learn a lesson or two (billy no mates). I have joined the school committee this week though, so with more work I’m hoping to get a couple of friends!
Adventures in Domesticity – Ways to tell you’re in the bad back brigade Pain that comes and goes is one thing but something that sticks around for a decade, that’s something else, so sending good vibes to Zoe xx
This week I’m linking 2 ways to get Motivation today and Travelling with baby, and Aby is linking 5 Things: to stop you feeling overwhelmed and Top Blogging Tips from BritMums Live.. What will you link up?!
