It’s another #TheList which I co-host with the rather fabulous Aby from You Baby Me Mummy! And another exciting blogging week. From honest mums’ birthday to interviewing Jools Oliver, this week has proven how much my ‘real life’ is merging with my ‘blog life’ and I’m loving it!

Last weeks #TheList was filled with posts from the useful to the hilarious and my featured bloggers this week are purely selfish as they are all things I need more of in my life!

Little Hearts, Big Love and her genius idea of a quiet box – we definitely need one of those!!

Happy Healthy Mumma and her wonderful post on Detoxify your life – I definitely need to do one of those!!

Mama and More and her 10 Yoga poses to help you get a good night’s sleep – I definitely need to do all of these!!

I told you!

On to my list…

Real/Blog life

The List week 11 from honest mum's birthday bash to interviewing Jools Oliver

The weekend started with a trip south to Leeds for my wonderful friend and amazing blogger, Vicki’s birthday. You can read all about our trip, our dresses and our fabulous girls’ night out here. And then it was back home for Sunday Lunch with my boys!

Then after all the excitement of the week before (I’ve linked up my interview with Myleene, let me know what you think!) and the weekend I finally had a day with Reuben! On Tuesday I drank a LOT of tea in this ugly but large mug and we baked cakes, spent a couple of hours on the beach, read stories, made a pillow mountain and generally had fun (in case it all sounds too perfect, there were plenty of tantrums and I pretty much carried him the whole time at the beach…nearly killed me!). It was lovely spending a bit of quality time with him, especially as I was going to be away. Queue mummy guilt!

Wednesday and Thursday I was in London for the Mothercare S/S 15 launch and interviewing Jools Oliver, wife to Jamie and designer for the Little Bird range! I was sooo nervous!! But I needn’t have been – she was lovely. As were the Mothercare PR team (Hello Noella!) who made me feel so special.

And then it was homeward and today I’ll be having another Reuben/mummy day complete with the odd tantrum I’m sure!

I got a copy of the brand new Mothers Meeting book by Jenny Scott at the Mothercare launch event. It is super cool and really inspiring me in my thoughts to write a book! One day…

Your Turn! Linky and Rules

The Linky will be live sometime in the wee hours so do pop back to link up!

The List is your opportunity to show off any list or bullet style posts you’ve written, either in the week or from your archive, so the community can show it some love. This could be anything from 100 ways to cook an egg to the 30 best family days out to 5 steps to perfect eyebrows, the list goes on (pardon the pun!). It’s totally up to you, the post just needs to be in a list or bullet point format.

Oh and here are the rules for joining in!

  1. You can link up to 3 posts per week! Be sure to paste The List Badge on each post you would like to link (code below – paste it into the HTML option of your blogging platform)
  2. Comment on this post to say hi!
  3. Comment on at least 2 other links – share the love man, it’s what makes this community great!
  4. It would also be amazing if you could share your post and the linky party (using the hashtag #TheList) on your social media channels to help grow the community. Aby and I will also retweet all your posts via twitter if you mention us in your tweets!
  5. Finally, if you could please follow Mums’ Days  (Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest) and You Baby Me Mummy (Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest) that would be wonderful!
By adding your post to the linkup you are agreeing to be notified of subsequent linkups by email.

That’s it! Aby and I can’t wait to get started, and we pledge to comment on all linked posts that meet the rules. So please do link in and we’ll get showing your posts some love xxx
