It’s that time of the week again and we had another record breaking week. It must have been the desire to win a fabulous Personalised Planner! The winner chosen at random was Kat from Beau Twins, so mega congratulations and enjoy your prize – we hope you get super organised for 2015!

Last week was a bumper crop of amazing posts – the Thanks Giving posts in particular really got me! – so it was difficult to pick favourites, like picking your favourite chip or child. Without further ado I give you…my featured Bloggers:

Misplaced Brit – Steph’s post on Non Edible Advent Calendars is as helpful as it is an all round amazing reason to move to Sweden for Christmas, superdooper lovely!

Headspace Perspective – Leigh’s post on The Bloggers’ Heirarchy of needs is inspired! I really enjoyed reading it (and also seeing where I was falling short!) – a great post.

Joy and Pops – Claire’s post, 7 Things I wish I had Known Before Having a Baby, is hilarious! Each point had me chuckling away. Open door policy..heheheheeee!

So, on to my list…

1. Real Life

I still haven’t emptied my phone so again no photos! But I don’t need photos for the big news of the week, which is…I’ve been singing this song all week:

Because we’ve found a house we love and we’re moving to the country!! Well, providing our seller doesn’t pull out (like the last one did).

Exciting times y’all and a huge change for us to move 25 miles inland. Now it’s all more real I’m making an extra effort to go to the beach – nothing like really making sure I miss it. But we’ll be 25 miles closer to Mike’s parents, who live 6 miles away from our new house (baby sitters!!) and our new gym will be less than half a mile rather than 15 miles away. It’s all looking good AND Reuben’s childcare is likely to be about £££s cheaper!

Oh and the icing on the cake? I will have an office. A REAL office, not just the dinning room, all to myself! That place is going to be a junk yard, but it will be my junk yard and I will love it. And, this board could become a reality!

2. Blog Life

Blogging has seen two big things start this week – the first is a huge set of fabulous competitions, called the 12 Days of Christmas, which I’m running Aby and Ang. It’s been quite the undertaking but we made it and I’m so pleased with what we’ve got to give. I want all the prizes for myself!

The other ‘big thing’ is starting my 12 Days of Detox – involving me, my head, a TV addiction, and a Christmas Party dress to fit into! Nothing like a pre-Christmas Detox, so do come and join me if you fancy a wee bit of inspiration: Day 1 – Detox Diet and Day 2 & 3 – Exercise, Routine and TV Addiction!

3. Inspiration

Have you seen Vicki, from Honest Mum’s posts about all the fabulous premieres she’s been going to? They sound amazing and it’s really inspired me to keep going with the Pro Blog stuff! Read about Paddington here and Get Santa here.

And, lovely Katie turned 35 last Friday (Happy Birthday!) and wrote this wonderful post brimming with advice and support for us ladies: 35 Rules for Modern Women to Live by.

4. Your Turn! Linky and Rules

The List is your opportunity to show off any list or bullet style posts you’ve written, either in the week or from your archive, so the community can show it some love. This could be anything from 100 ways to cook an egg to the 30 best family days out to 5 steps to perfect eyebrows, the list goes on (pardon the pun!). It’s totally up to you, the post just needs to be in a list or bullet point format.

Oh and here are the rules for joining in!

  1. You can link up to 3 posts per week! Be sure to paste The List Badge on each post you would like to link (code below – paste it into the HTML option of your blogging platform)
  2. Comment on this post to say hi!
  3. Comment on at least 2 other links – share the love man, it’s what makes this community great!
  4. It would also be amazing if you could share your post and the linky party (using the hashtag #TheList) on your social media channels to help grow the community. Aby and I will also retweet all your posts via twitter if you mention us in your tweets!
  5. Finally, if you could please follow Mums’ Days  (Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest) and You Baby Me Mummy (Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest) that would be wonderful!
By adding your post to the linkup you are agreeing to be notified of subsequent linkups by email.

That’s it! Aby and I can’t wait to get started, and we pledge to comment on all linked posts that meet the rules. So please do link in and we’ll get showing your posts some love xxx
