Well these weeks are running away aren’t they? It’s going to be 2015 before we know it – hurrah! I love a new year. But in the meantime, Aby and I had another jolly good and very festive week with #TheList – you lot were just bursting for December to start, huh?! Thank you for your continued support and keep on linking lovelies!

My featured bloggers from last week are:

Books and Baby etc and her post on Dealing with Depression – I think especially in these darker months it’s really easy to slip into a depression so it’s good to be mindful of our mood and take extra care to look after ourselves.

What Katy Said has done this fabulous post about the Elf on the Shelf – yes I’m the one who was under a rock! But how cute is this idea?!

I want to be in New York with Mum Revised right now, she’s such a crease and this post had me in stitches. Plus, New York + Christmas = Amazing!

On to my list…

1. Real Life

I finally sorted my phone and made some space so be prepared for some amazing photos, such as this insane carrot. It was really muddy so imagine my surprise once I’d peeled and chopped it and it was PURPLE! This resulted in one of my favourite convos of the week with Rural Mummy.

Christmas happened in the Mums’ Days house, which was really fun and I took loads of photos to hopefully share soon.

Mike and I went on a date night so we could review a lovely new Pub and B&B in the countryside, called St Mary’s Inn, on Sunday evening – Lie in!! I’ve a full post coming but check out this amazing Gingerbread House!

2. Blog Life

On the blog I’m pleased to share my interview with Jools Oliver on her Little Bird Mothercare range and a full post on the Press Event for Mothercare S/S15 – it was such a fun event and I loved writing up the post so I hope you enjoy it!

With my phone back in photo order I’ve been enjoying some instagramming! I thought it might be interesting to share which posts did the best in terms of engagement (obviously the carrot wins hands down) and likes!

The most popular was this post of my breakfast yesterday – but to be fair, garlic mushrooms on toast, with oven baked bacon and eggs (and they were dippy!). Delish!

The next most popular ones were our family christmas shot and the Gingerbread house (both above). And then this lovely shot from my morning beach walk. I’m sure gunna miss views like this when we move!

3. Inspiration

Mike, my hubby, has been awesome this week. It must be pretty shit living with a blogger most of the time – all the soul searching and long hours does not make me fabulous company.  I was moaning to him this week that he doesn’t get me little gifts but I’ve realised that he DOES! He’s always thinking of me and sending me really interesting things to read and listen to. A highlight this week was a podcast interview with Remit Sethi by Tim Ferris about turning your blog into a multi-million dollar business. Er, yes please! I went and did a bunch of errands, got my car washed and listened away. I think it was my FAVOURITE moment of the week. So thank you Mike xxxx

4. Your Turn! Linky and Rules

The List is your opportunity to show off any list or bullet style posts you’ve written, either in the week or from your archive, so the community can show it some love. This could be anything from 100 ways to cook an egg to the 30 best family days out to 5 steps to perfect eyebrows, the list goes on (pardon the pun!). It’s totally up to you, the post just needs to be in a list or bullet point format.

Oh and here are the rules for joining in!

  1. You can link up to 3 posts per week! Be sure to paste The List Badge on each post you would like to link (code below – paste it into the HTML option of your blogging platform)
  2. Comment on this post to say hi!
  3. Comment on at least 2 other links – share the love man, it’s what makes this community great!
  4. It would also be amazing if you could share your post and the linky party (using the hashtag #TheList) on your social media channels to help grow the community. Aby and I will also retweet all your posts via twitter if you mention us in your tweets!
  5. Finally, if you could please follow Mums’ Days  (Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest) and You Baby Me Mummy (Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest) that would be wonderful!
By adding your post to the linkup you are agreeing to be notified of subsequent linkups by email.

That’s it! Aby and I can’t wait to get started, and we pledge to comment on all linked posts that meet the rules. So please do link in and we’ll get showing your posts some love xxx
